Special place

The bushes dance fiercely like a Samoan sasa performance.
The mouldy drains slurps water all night long.
The smoke from the chimneys takes over the air.
The moon screams twilight.

My special place is in Hanmer.

The main reason this is for me is because every night we play a game of spotlight with the whole family.

As I went to hide it seemed different, the water was shivering blue.
The tall grass swayed in the wind.
And the little rocks clashed furiously.
